CareerBrae exists to tackle one of the most persistent injustices in the UK labour market: that where you start in life so often determines where you end up.
Our mission
Human support,
amplified by technology.
We pair dedicated caseworkers, who get to know the people they support as individuals, with technology that takes the friction out of the job search. The result is faster, better employment outcomes for people who have too often been left behind.
We are set up as a Community Interest Company, not a charity. Any surplus we make goes straight back into expanding our service, and it is always free to the people we support.

We actively work with people facing the highest barriers: ex-offenders, care leavers, long-term sick, digital exclusion.

Participants share sensitive information with us. We handle it with the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality.
Evidence-based
Every outcome is tracked, measured, and reported. We only do what the evidence shows works.
Sustainable impact
We focus on long-term employment, not quick placements. We follow up for 26 weeks after job start.
Responsible AI
AI is always transparent and human-reviewed. Participants know when AI is being used and can opt out.
