CareerBrae CIC is the data controller for personal data processed through this platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with UK GDPR.
What data we collect
We collect information you provide during registration (name, email, phone, date of birth, postcode), employment history, skills, and notes from your sessions with caseworkers. We also collect usage data to improve the service.
How we use it
Your data is used to provide employment support, match you to suitable jobs, and report aggregate outcomes to our funders (Scottish Government, local authorities). Individual data is never shared with funders without explicit consent.
AI and automated processing
CareerBrae uses AI tools (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to help caseworkers draft session notes and match participants to jobs. AI-generated content is always reviewed and approved by a human caseworker before it is used. You have the right to opt out of AI-assisted processing at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your data. To exercise these rights contact privacy@careerbrae.co.uk.
Data retention
We retain your data for the duration of your programme plus 7 years for funder audit purposes, after which it is permanently deleted.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and authentication tokens. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are only placed with your consent.
