Revvity develops healthcare solutions for scientists, researchers, and clinicians worldwide. This 12-month manufacturing engineering internship offers hands-on experience in a precision optical and analytical instruments facility, where you'll support the Global Operations Division and learn ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance standards.
What you’ll do
- Analyse and assess the impact of design changes on manufacturing processes to ensure feasibility
- Review mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models for precision instrument components
- Support production engineers in evaluating design modifications, including cost reductions and obsolescence solutions
- Participate in testing and validation of design changes within the manufacturing environment
- Gain understanding of low-volume, high-value precision manufacturing processes
Eligibility
- Studying or recently graduated in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes and design engineering
- Familiarity with CAD software and mechanical drawing interpretation
- Ability to work within a quality-regulated environment and understand manufacturing standards
