Envisics
Envisics is an automotive technology firm developing next-generation augmented reality head-up displays using holographic innovation. This industrial placement offers undergraduates a year-long opportunity to contribute directly to live product development alongside experienced engineers and scientists, with genuine responsibility for project deliverables.
What you’ll do
- Support testing and validation activities for display systems and components
- Design and build experimental rigs and fixtures for calibration and system validation
- Develop mechanical parts and assemblies from initial concept through to prototype production
- Collaborate within project teams to achieve assigned technical deliverables
- Contribute ideas for future mechanical solutions and design improvements
Eligibility
- Undergraduate engineering student with strong academic performance
- Demonstrable laboratory experience, ideally in optics or electronics
- Proficiency in data analysis, logging and technical reporting
- Familiarity with Python, MATLAB or advanced Excel (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
