Castleton Commodities International is a global energy commodities trading and infrastructure investment firm. They're building an advanced analytics platform to support their trading and investment operations, and are seeking interns to help develop front office software tools that serve real traders and analysts.
What you’ll do
- Develop front office software tools supporting real-time trading, market data analytics, and visualisation
- Partner with commercial traders to improve pricing models, decision support systems, and workflow efficiency
- Create Python-based microservices and APIs for data access and operational automation
- Build data visualisation dashboards using tools like Streamlit to surface trading KPIs, price trends, and market analysis
Eligibility
- Currently studying or recently graduated with strong technical foundation in software development
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and data tools (Snowflake)
- Interest in building quality software that directly impacts trading and analytics workflows
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, data scientists, and business users
