LEGO is seeking a Marketing Finance & Budget Planning Intern to join their marketing operations team for a year-long placement. You'll support budget tracking, financial planning, and monthly reporting across global and regional marketing initiatives, working within a structured, process-driven environment that values precision and organisation.
What you’ll do
- Monitor marketing budgets and expenditure using planning software for retail marketing teams across multiple regions
- Process purchase orders, log them into the planning system, and distribute to vendors
- Compare actual marketing spend against approved budgets and flag variances
- Assist with invoice processing and vendor payments alongside internal stakeholders
- Prepare monthly financial reports and participate in review calls, updating planning records with spend data
- Support vendor management activities and scope documentation
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in higher education or equivalent training programme at time of application
- 18 years or older with UK work rights for the full 12-month duration
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Able to commit to 37.5 hours/week, ideally from September 2026, attending London office minimum 3 days weekly
- Interest in marketing operations, budgeting, and financial analysis
