DV Trading is a major proprietary trading firm and part of the broader DV Group, which operates across multiple financial services disciplines globally. The firm specialises in commodities markets—energy, metals, and agricultural products—and is recognised as a leading liquidity provider. You'll join as a Trading Intern, rotating across desks to explore different trading styles whilst building technical tools and analytics.
What you’ll do
- Rotate across at least two trading desks to learn various strategies, from oil products market-making to European gas and power discretionary trading
- Develop and maintain applications and dashboards that support trading operations
- Conduct back-testing on trading ideas and present findings to the team
- Work closely with senior and junior traders to understand market dynamics and risk management
- Contribute to a collaborative environment with exposure to senior leadership and cross-desk initiatives
Eligibility
- Interest in trading strategies and financial markets
- Technical aptitude for building analytics tools and applications
- Willingness to learn across multiple commodities and trading styles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, quantitative environment
- Strong communication skills to present ideas and insights to trading teams
