Elementis is a speciality chemicals company seeking an Associate Scientist to support the development of formulated products from initial concept to market launch. You'll work within the Innovation Delivery Team, conducting laboratory-based research and formulation work that translates product ideas into viable, customer-focused solutions.
What you’ll do
- Conduct hands-on formulation development and prototype preparation in the laboratory
- Perform application testing and stability assessments on experimental formulations
- Investigate raw materials and alternative processing methods to optimise product performance
- Generate technical data and documentation to support new product development milestones
- Maintain accurate records and present findings clearly to senior scientists and stakeholders
Eligibility
- Scientific background relevant to formulation chemistry or materials science
- Ability to execute structured experimental work and adapt approach creatively
- Attention to detail and strong record-keeping practices
- Willingness to support senior team members and work collaboratively on project delivery
