This graduate or intern position offers structured entry into finance within the care sector, combining day-to-day accounting tasks with exposure to management reporting and financial controls across multiple care home sites.
What you’ll do
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reports; extract and analyse financial data from systems
- Process purchase ledger invoices, reconcile transactions and maintain accurate records
- Support sales ledger activities including resident billing and fee tracking
- Assist with payroll processing, timesheet checks and related documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet verification tasks
- Support finance improvement projects and ad-hoc analytical requests
Eligibility
- Finance graduate or final-year student seeking practical experience
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with spreadsheets and finance systems
- Comfortable with numerical tasks and data analysis
- Organised approach to administrative and financial record-keeping
- Willingness to learn and develop professional skills within a structured environment
