Civil Works Alliance
The Civil Works Alliance is a consortium delivering the Sizewell C nuclear power station project, which will generate low-carbon electricity for approximately 6 million UK homes over at least 60 years. You'll join the Enabling and Earthwork Section as an Assistant Water Specialist, supporting critical water management and environmental work on this landmark infrastructure scheme.
What you’ll do
- Assist with water management planning and implementation across the project site
- Support flood risk assessment and mitigation activities
- Contribute to environmental sustainability initiatives aligned with the project's clean energy goals
- Work within the Enabling and Earthwork Section on assigned water-related tasks
- Develop practical experience on a major nuclear construction project
Eligibility
- Graduate or early-career professional with relevant qualifications or foundation knowledge
- Genuine interest in water management, flood risk, and environmental sustainability
- Enthusiasm for contributing to large-scale energy infrastructure development
- Willingness to develop your career on a complex, long-term project
