Turcan Connell
Turcan Connell is a Scottish law firm offering a structured two-year traineeship programme for Scots law graduates. The scheme combines mandatory rotations through the firm's core practice areas with optional placements in specialist departments, delivered primarily from the Edinburgh office.
What you’ll do
- Complete four six-month seats across different practice areas to gain broad legal experience
- Work mandatory rotations in Tax and Succession and Land and Property departments
- Potentially rotate through optional seats in Charities, Employment, Dispute Resolution, Divorce and Family, or Private Businesses
- Develop practical legal skills under the firm's structured mentoring programme
Eligibility
- Scottish Law degree with upper second-class honours (or above)
- Alternatively, an accelerated ordinary LLB with upper second-class honours in your first degree
- Available to start 2028 traineeship
- Able to attend recruitment day on 1st October 2026
