Hypebeast is a global lifestyle and culture platform founded in 2005, operating across 12 markets and covering fashion, art, design, music, technology, sports and wider cultural trends. This role involves creating and curating content across editorial and social channels, identifying cultural moments and emerging voices, and collaborating with creative teams to tell compelling stories for a worldwide audience.
What you’ll do
- Research, write and publish news pieces and features on contemporary culture and lifestyle trends
- Create, edit and schedule social media content across regional platforms, optimising for engagement and audience growth
- Scout emerging influencers and tastemakers, tracking industry developments and cultural shifts
- Attend live events to capture, film and edit visual content aligned with the brand's aesthetic
- Work alongside editorial, video and social teams to ensure content consistency and support ongoing story arcs
- Contribute ideas in strategy meetings and help develop new content concepts and campaigns
Eligibility
- Genuine passion for contemporary culture, fashion, design, music and wider lifestyle topics
- Strong writing ability with careful attention to accuracy and detail
- Basic competency with image and video editing tools, and familiarity with social media platforms
- Capable of managing workload independently, meeting deadlines and conducting reliable research
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous writing or social media experience valued but not essential
