AECOM is a global engineering consultancy. This electrical water engineering role involves designing and managing electrical systems for water treatment and pumping facilities, supporting clients with both new-build projects and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
What you’ll do
- Specify electrical equipment and infrastructure for water treatment and pumping systems
- Produce cable schedules and sizing documentation for control panel design
- Develop ducting networks and distribution routes for electrical cables
- Create control philosophies to define plant operation and automation logic
- Liaise with national power grid operators to arrange new or upgraded electrical supplies
- Assess condition of existing plant and machinery to support asset management decisions
Eligibility
- Electrical engineering knowledge specific to water and pumping systems
- Experience specifying electrical equipment and infrastructure
- Understanding of control systems and automation principles
- Ability to produce technical schedules and documentation
