AECOM is a global engineering firm supporting water infrastructure clients. This role sits within the electrical water engineering team, where you'll contribute to both new-build treatment facility projects and evaluations of existing systems, helping clients enhance asset performance and operational efficiency.
What you’ll do
- Design electrical systems and specifications for pumping and treatment infrastructure
- Produce cable schedules and sizing documentation for control panel fabrication
- Plan ducting networks and cable distribution routes throughout facilities
- Develop operational control philosophies and liaise with national grid operators on power supply arrangements
- Assess the condition of existing plant and machinery to inform improvement strategies
Eligibility
- Electrical engineering background with water or process engineering experience preferred
- Ability to produce technical schedules, specifications and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of control systems and electrical distribution networks
- Collaborative working style and stakeholder engagement skills
