The University of Bristol's School for Policy Studies is seeking a Research Support Assistant to work within a social care research team funded by the NIHR School for Social Care Research. This is an ideal entry point for someone keen to develop research expertise and consider postgraduate study or a PhD in the social care field.
What you’ll do
- Support research planning, preparation and delivery under supervision of senior researchers
- Conduct literature searches and perform secondary data analysis
- Assist with data collection and research methods tasks
- Help prepare ethical approval applications and ensure regulatory compliance
- Contribute to research publications and project outputs
Eligibility
- Undergraduate degree or Master's qualification in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience
- Interest in pursuing a research career or PhD in social care
- Well-organised with strong motivation to develop research skills
- Ability to work effectively under supervision within a team environment
