Envisics
Envisics is an automotive technology firm developing augmented reality head-up displays using holographic innovation. You'll join a specialist team working on holographic spatial light modulators, supporting the full development cycle from silicon design through to fabrication and assembly.
What you’ll do
- Conduct laboratory measurements and testing of holographic spatial light modulator devices using various measurement techniques
- Collect, analyse and present measurement data and results to the design engineering team
- Automate measurement processes where possible to improve data gathering efficiency
- Use computational modelling tools to deepen understanding of device performance characteristics
- May undertake design of experiment and root cause analysis tasks depending on capability
Eligibility
- Currently studying physics or engineering at undergraduate level
- Available for a one-year industrial placement
- Ability to work within a laboratory environment and handle technical measurement equipment
