HP is seeking a junior web developer to join the engineering team supporting Wolf Security Controller, a large-scale web-based platform that manages security policies and endpoint protection across enterprise and cloud environments. You'll work in a small, collaborative team developing both front-end and back-end components for a system handling threat data visualisation and corporate client management.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain API and UI backend services using Python, Django and SQL databases
- Build and optimise front-end interfaces with React, TypeScript and Vue.js, including data visualisation features
- Manage background tasks and asynchronous processing using Celery job queues
- Deploy and configure the platform on AWS cloud infrastructure and on-premises customer servers
- Write unit tests and automated installation tests; contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Support both cloud-hosted and self-managed deployments serving enterprise customers
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject from a reputable university; graduates from class of 2025 or 2026 welcome
- Proven interest in web development via personal projects, university work or internship experience
- Self-motivated approach to tackling technical challenges and learning in a professional environment
- This is a one-year placement position; postgraduate applications also considered
