Nottinghamshire Police is recruiting for a support role within its Information Management Unit, specifically to assist the Information Security Team. You'll work on data protection, security governance, and emerging technology research, contributing to policy development and continuous improvement across the organisation.
What you’ll do
- Help develop and maintain information security policies, standards and guidance
- Administer and monitor Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Support the Force's security assessment and compliance processes
- Research emerging technologies, cyber security trends and artificial intelligence developments
- Contribute to horizon scanning and innovation activities within the Information Management Unit
Eligibility
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Strong research skills and capability to gather accurate information
- Comfortable liaising with multiple departments across the organisation
- Interest in information governance, data protection and cyber security
